Sewing Seeds of Change with Heather Shillinglaw

With inspiration from her exhibition “Whiskey Scrip” artist Heather Shillinglaw will guide you in designing your own floral brooch. On miniature scale, explore the techniques of her unique art-quilting style. Through stitching and collaging fabrics, you will examine textures and colors to create a layering effect. Finally, you will enhance your flower using embroidery-flossing and hand beading.

Ages 12+ (under 16 should be accompanied by an adult).

Cost to register is $35 +HST.
