BIRTHDAY PARTIES AT THE DOUGLAS FAMILY ART CENTRE

Celebrate your Birthday at the Douglas Family Art Centre!

Invite your friends and family for a one-of-a-kind party at the Art Centre and enjoy a creative, hands-on art activity. Birthday celebrations include a tour of the galleries, and a personalized art activity based on your child’s interests. Children may also make their own party hats or birthday crowns using a variety of craft supplies!

As with all of our rentals, birthday parties are subject to availability of space and our instructors. Please give us as much advanced notice as possible when requesting to book a birthday party.

DETAILS:

Time: 2 hours per party, which includes a fun, interactive guided tour of the galleries and a hands-on art-making activity in the studio.

Set-up: Minimum 1 hour of access to the room prior to the party for set-up and decoration. Please let us know if you require additional time.

Clean-up: The room must be cleaned up and all decorations removed within 1 hour after the end of the party.

Resources: We supply all of the art materials! You provide the decorations, plates, cutlery, cups, napkins, cake, food, and drinks.

Cost: $300 +HST. A $150 (50%) nonrefundable deposit is required on booking. This fee includes up to 10 children (ages 5 to 14 years) and 3-5 adults. One adult supervisor is required for every 4 children. Additional children can be accommodated at a cost of $25 +HST per child. The balance of the fee is due on the day of the birthday party.

Birthday parties for adults and older teens are available upon request. Cost may vary.
