LIVE PAINTING! Holly Ann Friesen – GETTING LOST IN THE LANDSCAPE

Have you ever observed an artist paint the final strokes of their masterpiece? In her exhibition GETTING LOST IN THE LANDSCAPE (April 20 – July 7, 2024) local artist Holly Ann Friesen has created an immersive experience for our audience. Hanging from the ceiling is a layered installation for you observe and walk through. On April 20th at 2:30 pm come watch Holly Ann paint the final panel of her monumental work “Anatomy of a Vision” and witness the forest come alive!

Holly Ann Friesen is a nationally represented visual artist based in Kenora, Ontario. Her art practice is built on paintings that capture the essence of the Canadian landscape. Friesen’s work involves taking the familiar and creating something new through abstraction, challenging the audience to see more than the original object or inspiration.
