Art With a Message (ages 13-17) – 10 weeks

This 10-week course for children ages 13-17 runs Thursdays from 4:30-6pm from October 1 to December 3.
Art isn’t always about making something pretty, sometimes it is about making a statement. In this course, participants will explore personal, political, social, emotional, and symbolic messages in art and use what they learn to create artworks expressing their own unique points of view.
Registration is required and you can register by contacting the Douglas Family Art Centre at (807) 467-2201 or emailing [email protected]. Payment will be required upon registration. The cost to register for this 10-week class is $250 +HST for non-members or $240 +HST for MUSE members. Limited to 8 participants. All materials are supplied.
All participants will be required to wear masks and social distance during the class.
