Quick Craft: Paper City

by Shelby Smith

Hopefully you are getting outside this weekend to enjoy some safe, socially distanced activities with your family.  When it’s time to head inside to warm up, here’s a fun craft to do: make a paper city!

To complete this project you will need:

  • scissors
  • tape and/or glue
  • cardboard rolls
  • coloured paper
  • markers, crayons, or pencils

If you don’t have one of the supplies, swap it out for another!  Paint the cardboard instead of using paper, or use tin cans instead of cardboard rolls.  Add in things like buttons, sequins, bottle caps, egg cartons, popsicle sticks, and whatever you can find around the house.

The only limit is what you can imagine!

We would love to see what you create!  Share with us on Facebook, Instagram, or Twitter by tagging @themusekenora.

Have a great Family Day weekend!
