Join the Curators from The Muse: Lake of the Woods Museum and Douglas Family Art Centre at the Minaki Community Club on the evening of Saturday, June 17th at 7:00PM.
The evening will be a chance to meet Douglas Family Art Centre Curator, Sophie Lavoie, and Muse Director, Braden Murray. In addition to a meet and greet, there will be brief presentations by both Sophie and Braden on Minaki’s connection to local arts and history. Sophie will be speaking on the Walter J. Phillips connection to Minaki. Braden will be talking about the area’s connection to CN Railway, looking at Carl Linde photographs from The Muse collection of the construction of the railway in the Minaki area.
In addition, the Curators will be speaking about the exciting exhibits we have coming up this summer at The Muse. Mark it on your calendar and we’ll see you in June!
