Every walk of life and some indelible characters are represented in the Lake of the Woods Museum’s cemetery walking tours. Established on 35 acres of donated land in 1890, the historic grounds of the Lake of the Woods Cemetery, come to life during these weekly tours. All tours give insight to the toils of pioneering adventurers and the unique lifestyles of area residents. The infamous tales, ghostly stories and headstone artwork are highlighted during the tours.
