Kid’s Clay with Aimee Baldwin (ages 9-13) – 6 Weeks

Join Aimee Baldwin of Moon in June Studio for a special 6-week ceramics program for children ages 9-13 at the Douglas Family Art Centre! Classes take places on Wednesdays from 4:30-6:00pm from January 17 – February 21, 2024. Participants will learn several hand-building techniques for working with clay while completing five unique projects, with a session to glaze all of their creations.
Week 1, Jan. 17 – Pinch pot cup
Week 2, Jan. 24 – Pinch pot creature
Week 3, Jan. 31 – Coil pot
Week 4, Feb. 7 – Soap dish
Week 5, Feb. 14 – Slab mug
Week 6, Feb. 21 – Glaze day
Registration is required and you can register by filling out our online registration form. Payment will be required to reserve your place in the class, and can be done online or in-person* at the Douglas Family Art Centre.

The cost to register is $300 +HST for non-members or $270 +HST for MUSE members. Limited to 12 participants. All materials are supplied.
