Instructor: Shelby Dawn Smith
Bring your family to the Douglas Family Art Centre on Saturday, June 8 from 2:00-3:30pm for another Family Crafternoon where we’ll be reeling in the big ones! 🎣
Cut out an assortment of fish using coloured and patterned paper, then create scales using markers, sequins, glitter, and more. Once they are decorated, the fish can be hung from a stick to create a fun, seasonal wall hanging. A selection of colouring and activity pages will also be available.
Registration is required and can be completed online or in-person. You will receive an email confirming your enrolment (please check your Junk Mail!). Space is limited, so please indicate how many people will be attending in your group on your registration form. If you need to cancel your registration at any time, please let us know so we can accommodate other families! This program is being offered for FREE.* All materials are supplied.
*This program is being offered for FREE thanks to the generous support of Triple PLAY. Triple PLAY is a non-profit that supports low-income families in Kenora in accessing Positive Leisure Activities for Youth (PLAY). Funds donated to Triple PLAY support registration fees, equipment, and transportation costs to ensure all children have an equal opportunity to participate in leisure activities. And it’s not just sports! Lessons in music, dance, visual arts, and more are all covered under Triple PLAY’s umbrella. Visit their website to learn more about the program, or to donate.
