Instructor: Shelby Dawn Smith
This 8-week course for teens and adults runs Wednesdays from 7-9pm from January 8 to February 26.
Abstract art relies on the visual language of shape, form, colour, and line to create compositions, rather than attempting to replicate reality. Lead by local abstract artist Shelby Dawn Smith, participants will learn about influential abstract artists, techniques, and styles, as well as explore subjects that blur the lines between abstract and reality.
Registration is required and you can register by contacting the Douglas Family Art Centre at (807) 467-2201. Payment will be required upon registration. The cost to register for this 8-week class is $200 +HST for non-members or $190 +HST for MUSE members. Limited to 16 participants. All materials are supplied.
Register early to avoid disappointment.
