Instructor: Aimee Baldwin of Moon in June Studio

Join Aimee Baldwin of Moon in June Studio for a special 6-week ceramics program for children ages 6-9 at the Douglas Family Art Centre! Classes take places on Tuesdays from 4:30-5:30pm from January 14 – February 18, 2025. Participants will learn several hand-building techniques for working with clay while completing five unique projects, with a final class to glaze all of their creations. Pick up of completed clay projects will be scheduled 1-3 weeks after class completion.

Week 1, Jan. 14 – Coil snail
Week 2, Jan. 21 – Pinch pot creature
Week 3, Jan. 28 – Snack plate
Week 4, Feb. 4 – Mug
Week 5, Feb. 11 – Bowl
Week 6, Feb. 18 – Glaze day

Registration and payment are required to reserve your space in this class. If you will be using Triple PLAY or another funding source, please contact us by calling 807-467-2201 so that our staff can make special arrangements.

*Please be advised of our holiday closure from December 22 – January 1. During this time The Muse will be closed and staff will not be responding to emails or phone calls. Only online registration and payment will be available during this time.

The cost to register is $260 +HST for non-members or $234 +HST for MUSE members. Limited to 12 participants. All materials are supplied.
