We can all admit to crying at some time or another. But, can we explain exactly why we are crying when we have no physical pain or ouchies? Ever find yourself saying: “I feel like crying” and not really knowing why?

Author Fran Pintadero tells us how different emotions bring on different types of tears and how genuine, healthy tears are beneficial to our well-being.  Illustrations by Ana Sender are full of sentiment and make turning each page a delight!

This book will be read over and over again to children of all ages (and adults too!) allowing them to cry healthy tears of joy, sadness, frustration, and any emotion in between. The scientific explanation of tears at the end of the book is an added bonus. Who knew tears are like snowflakes? Every one of them different in their own unique way!
