Beam Paints at the Douglas Family Art Centre

Did you know that Anong Migwans Beam, one of our current featured artists has her own line of paints?

Beam Paints are made of lightfast pigments, tree sap, gum arabic and Manitoulin honey and packaged plastic free in slices of wood offcuts.

They are available at the Douglas Family Art Centre, 224 Main Street South, Kenora, Ontario.

Did you know?

In 1870 the Wolseley Expedition went through this area on route to the Red River Valley. Major General Garnet Wolseley got impatient and set out to cross the lake in a storm.  He got lost on the Lake of the Woods for two whole days!
