Notice of Special Hours for April 5, 2023

Please be advised that the Lake of the Woods Museum and the Douglas Family Art Centre will be open special hours on April 5, 2023. Both facilities will open at 10am and close early at 12pm to allow staff to attend a professional development opportunity with other City of Kenora staff.
Regular hours will resume April 6th.
Did you know?
The editor of the local newspaper pushed for Kenora to be named “Tresilva” instead. He thought the word was excellent because it could be written without lifting the pen off the paper. The name Tresilva was tremendously unpopular with the townsfolk and was quickly abandoned.
