May 18th is International Museum Day! It is a day to recognize that “Museums are an important means of cultural exchange, enrichment of cultures and development of mutual understanding, cooperation and peace among peoples.”
Through our ongoing exhibitions, educational programming, and community outreach, the Lake of the Woods Museum strives to be a place that fosters these values in our community; a place where we can come together, share our stories with each other and the wider world, and celebrate our unique history.
