Steaming Wood for a Tikinaagan – Demonstration (2 Days)

This free demonstration will take place over two days, May 27th and 28th, beginning at 2pm each day.

On Friday, Bernice and Einar Berle will demonstrate how wood is steamed for the construction of tikinaagans. They’ll be set up in the Museum courtyard. The steaming and bending will happen that day.

On the Saturday, they’ll take us through the next steps.
