Soft Sculpture with Amanda McCavour (ages 6+)

What kid doesn’t love plushies?
What if they could design their very own soft, squishy friend?
In this workshop, children ages 6+ will design and create their own soft sculpture with visiting artist Amanda McCavour.
Kids will imagine all kinds of animals, plants, objects, or imaginary creatures and then draw and develop their creation. Amanda will guide them through the process of transforming their drawings into a soft sculptures. Students will make a pattern on cloth and will use hand-stitching and drawing (with fabric markers) to create their own unique plush creatures.
Note: It is recommended that children ages 6-7 and those requiring additional assistance be accompanied by an adult or older child.
The cost to register is $40 +HST for non-members or $36 +HST for MUSE members.
