Quilting the Earth, Sky, and Water (Phillips’ Style)
June 20 @ 10:00 am - 3:00 pm$100
Instructor: Nancy Bergman and Jan Lindstrom
Join local art-quilters Nancy Bergman and Jan Lindstrom as they guide you through the process of creating a 12 x 16 inch quilted landscape. Using ideas from Phillips’ work, participants will play with fabric and create their own original scene. Discover the relationship between various skies and the water that reflects them. Fabrics will be supplied. Sewing machine is not required for the class (participants will sew their quilt at home, after assembling it during the workshop).
This workshop is recommended for intermediate and advanced level sewers and quilters. The class will run from 10am to 3pm, with a lunch break. Participants are encouraged to bring a lunch or money to purchase lunch from one of local restaurants.
