Portrait Painting à la Laurie Dufresne

In this full-day workshop, participants will learn to paint a portrait in the style of local artist Laurie Dufresne. Using a limited colour palette, Golden Fluid Acrylic Paints, and airbrush medium, Laurie will guide participants through approaching a portrait painting a she would.
Note: all participants must come prepared with a pre-drawn portrait sketch that they will be working from.
This workshop will take place on February 25th from 10am to 4pm at the Douglas Family Art Centre in the Studio. Participants are encouraged to bring a snack or lunch. Refrigerator and microwave are available for use for workshop participants.
Registration is required and you can register by filling out our online registration form. Payment will be required to complete your registration.
The cost to register is $120 +HST for non-members or $108 +HST for MUSE members. Limited to 15 participants. All materials are supplied. Recommended for adults and teens aged 15+ with previous art experience.
