Inspired by the exhibition, Symbols to the Stars, the Douglas Family Art Centre is pleased to offer this celestial statement jewelry workshop with local Métis artist, Shannon Stack-Lucas!
Join Shannon for an evening of creating, where you will make a set of earrings and a necklace for yourself or a loved one. Choose from a selection of fabrics, patterned paper, or printed images to fill your pendants. The necklace features a spinner pendant, allowing for two different images to be incorporated into the design. The workshop will take place on Wednesday, August 7th from 5:30-7:00pm.
The cost to register is $45 +HST per person or $40.50 +HST for MUSE members. Space is limited, so register and pay early to avoid disappointment. All materials are supplied. No previous experience is required.
This program is suitable for adults, teens, and older children. Children under 10 must be accompanied by an adult or teen.
