The Muse is pleased to once again partner with the Lake of the Woods Arts Community (LOWAC) in presenting ARTSFEST on July 20 and 21, 2024.
This fun, free, family friendly event features the region’s best local artists and will be an artistic playground for art enthusiasts of all ages. The two-day event will be happening once again in Kenora’s downtown arts hub on the grounds of The Muse – Douglas Family Art Centre and Lake of the Woods Museum.
The mainstage will be sending up a chorus of live music, spoken word, and cultural presentations during both days of the festival, along with the artists’ market that will feature artworks for sale and demonstrations. The popular KidZone gives youth of all abilities accessible, free opportunities to participate in guided exploration of the arts and hands-on activities as well as face painting.
Workshops are being presented over the two days by writer Ariel Gordon and potter Keifer Floreal.
