Come join us as we speak with artist EJ Kwandibens via ZOOM and learn what inspires his work on September 18th, 11:00am at the Douglas Family Art Centre. See his exhibition MINO BIMAADIZIWIN before it closes – last day is September 19th!
‘‘Mino Bimaadiziwin” is an Anishnaabe philosophy that means “Balanced Good Life.”
Multidisciplinary artist EJ Kwandibens is of the Loon Clan and is Northern Woodland Anishinawbek. Documenting Anishnaabe teachings, the floral patterns passed down to his mother, the late Elsie Kwandibens, from her mother and the land-based practices are at the heart of this exhibition.
